This fantastic native is one of the best semi-evergreen native ground-covers. Stays visibly green through January and then greens up again in late March. Loads of golden yellow flowers on 12″ tall spikes in early May. Stoloniferous and will fill in an area within a couple of years. Optimal conditions are part-shade and mesic-moist. Can also be found in sunny wet meadows and in woodlands. An all-around bullet-proof plant.
Sold as bed-grown bare root plants. Larger than a plug and smaller than a quart. Easy to plant.
